Upcoming Workshops

There are a couple of workshops coming up over the next two months that readers might be interested in. Click through to find out more...

Photographing the Night Skies Workshop - October 12th and 13th

Taking place on the evening of October 12th and continuing on the morning of the 13th is a workshop for anyone wanting to learn how to photograph the night skies. We cover the two techniques of star trails and freezing the stars in the night sky.

Due to the nature of the shoot, we’ll be combining the actual shoot with a get together at a location near Shongweni Dam. Cost remains at R1000 per student (maximum 5 students) but we’ll have a bring and braai at the same time as the shoot where students may bring partners and family along. As per the usual 2 day seminars, the following morning the photographers will reconvene to process and print their images at the studio (laptop and software required).

One Flash Wonder Workshop - November 21st

The mysterious flash baffles most photographers. For this reason this specialized workshop aims to demystify the humble flash gun. Please note that this workshop does not take place on a weekend but rather is a midweek workshop! Attending photographers will learn the basics of TTL and Manual, Off axis lighting, and how to use their infrared triggering systems. Venue is still to be decided, but we will have a model on site that the photographers will be able to work out the kinks in their system with.

Please contact me if you would like to book a place or would like some additional information.
